Cloud computing saves as much as 90% on corporate IT apps
A Microsoft blog post revealed the results of a report compiled by the company and its partners, Accentura and WSP Environment & Energy, which found that cloud-based use of its Exchange, Sharepoint and Dynamics CRM solutions can reduce carbon emissions by over 90% compared to on-premise installations on a per-user basis.

Four out of 10 SMEs will adopt some kind of cloud computing technology in 3 years time, a Microsoft report has found. Microsoft’s third annual survey of this type were based on responses from 3,258 companies with 2-250 employees in 16 countries.
