UK’s solar charger firm Suntrica enters China
Suntrica, a UK-based maker of solar-powered chargers for mobile devices, has signed deals with two Chinese companies to bring its product to that market.
China Daheng Group, an import and distribution company, will act as Suntrica’s distributor through China selling direct to retail outlets while AKL Beijing, will provide sales and after sales support to end-users.
Nokia Siemens claims world’s lowest power network server
Nokia Siemens Networks says its Flexi-NS (Network Server) is the world’s lowest power consuming server for mobile operators, capable of supporting 100,000 subscribers on 59 watts of power.
The company unveiled the product at 4G World this week, and expects to ship it commercially by end-2010.
