KDDI, Sharp readies June launch of solar handset

KDDI and Sharp has unveiled a new solar power-enabled mobile phone for this summer.
The SH002 Solar Phone model is part of the KDDI’s summer product line-up and is scheduled for release on 6 June 2009. The model is marketed as the world’s first water-resistant model with an integrated solar panel.
