HKIED selects Cisco data centre solution
The Hong Kong Institute of Education has deployed a 10 Gigabit Ethernet data centre network using Cisco gear. The new data centre infrastructure will consist of Cisco Catalyst 6500, Virtual Switching System 1440 and Cisco Applications Control Engine Module.

Cisco signs MoU with Metropolis to green cities

NASA and Cisco set up 'Planetary Skin'
A new partnership was announced this week between NASA and Cisco systems to set up a global climate change monitoring infrastructure called ‘Planetary Skin’. The project will develop an ‘online collaborative platform to capture and analyze data from satellite, airborne, sea and land-based sensors across the globe.’
